12V LED Strip Lights

Every light is cut to your length. House of LEDs is a bespoke lighting company: made-to-measure LED lighting for any domestic or commercial project.

12V LED Strip Lights run on 12-volt DC supply, the most common low-voltage standard for residential LED installations. Suitable for runs up to 5 metres before voltage drop becomes visible at the far end. For runs longer than 5m, switch to 24V.

Cut to your Bespoke Length — single continuous piece, driver sized to match.

Why 12V? Compatible with the widest range of consumer drivers and dimmers. Standard for caravans, motorhomes, boats, and 12V-powered installations.

12V vs 24V? 12V suffers more voltage drop. A 5m 12V run shows visible dimming at the end. 24V handles 20m before voltage drop matters.

Driver sizing: Total wattage + 20–30% headroom.

Best for: Short residential runs, vehicle installations, low-current displays.
Avoid if: Total run exceeds 5m (use 24V or 48V).
