Wardrobe LED Lighting

Wardrobe LED Lighting fixes one of the most overlooked problems in a bedroom — every garment looks the same shade of dark when you open the door. A strip of LED across the top shelf changes that completely. Colours read accurately, finding clothes takes seconds, and the wardrobe itself looks far more considered.

Two approaches

Recessed (flush, invisible) — small neon flex profiles (4×8mm, 10×6mm, or 4×10mm) route into a channel cut into the timber or MDF. Light appears to emerge from the furniture edge itself.

Surface-stick (quick install) — IP20 COB LED Strip with self-adhesive backing. Peel, stick to the shelf underside, done. A standard fitted wardrobe takes about ten minutes.

IP rating? IP20 COB LED Strip is perfect. Wardrobes are dry indoor — waterproofing adds unnecessary bulk.

Colour temperature? Personal preference. 4000K or 6000K for the clearest fabric colour rendering.

Best for: Fitted wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes, dressing rooms.
Avoid if: Cabinet is wet-room adjacent (use IP65 strip instead).
