SMD LED Strip Lights

Every light is cut to your length. House of LEDs is a bespoke lighting company: made-to-measure LED lighting for any domestic or commercial project.

SMD LED Strip Lights — Surface Mount Device LED Strip — use individual LED chips soldered to the surface of a flexible PCB at fixed intervals (typically 60, 120, or 240 LEDs per metre). The most common LED chip type, used in everything from basic decorative lighting to commercial signage.

Bespoke Length cut to your exact measurements.

SMD vs COB? SMD shows individual LED dots edge-on. COB bonds the LEDs under phosphor for a continuous dotless line. SMD is brighter per LED and more cost-effective.

LED chip types: 5050 (bright general purpose, 60 LEDs/m), 2835 (efficient mid-range, 120 LEDs/m), 5630/5730 (high-output commercial).

Voltage: 12V short residential, 24V longer runs.

Best for: Hidden installs where dots aren't visible, signage, commercial high-output applications.
Avoid if: The strip is visible through a diffuser (use COB instead).
