LED Neon Flex

Every light is cut precisely to your specification and prepared for your project. House of LEDs is a bespoke LED lighting company — made-to-measure for homes, commercial spaces, and architect-specified builds.

LED neon flex is a silicone-sleeved strip light that produces a continuous, dot-free light line along its full length. No visible diodes. No hotspots. It bends around curves and corners without cracking, runs indoors and outdoors, and covers lengths from 1 metre to 50 metres depending on voltage.

Choose Your Voltage — Runs from 5m to 50m

Voltage Max Single Run Best For
12V 5 metres Sign lettering, cabinet edges, small feature lights
24V 20 metres Room coves, stairwells, under-cabinet runs
48V 50 metres Commercial shopfronts, perimeter outlines, hospitality
220–240V AC 50 metres Mains-direct installs, large architectural runs

Run length is the deciding factor. At 12V, voltage drop limits a safe run to 5 metres — push past that and the far end dims. 24V doubles the safe distance. Both 48V and 220–240V mains reach 50 metres in a single run, removing the need for mid-run power injection on large commercial jobs.

Indoor and Outdoor — IP20 to IP68

Our neon flex covers every environment:

  • IP20 — dry indoor spaces: coves, joinery reveals, furniture lighting
  • IP65 — limited outdoor use where sheltered from direct exposure to weather: concealed channels, covered soffits, and profiles hidden from direct rain
  • IP67 — temporary water exposure: garden structures, pergolas, decking, exterior building outlines
  • IP68 — continuous water contact: water features, ground-level installs, and permanent outdoor applications

The IP rating and voltage are what change between a domestic living room cove and a commercial restaurant facade. The product is the same.

Why Neon Flex Looks Different from Standard LED Strip

Standard LED strips emit from individual diode points. At close range, you see a row of dots instead of a clean line. Neon flex houses the strip inside a soft silicone diffuser — light spreads evenly across the full profile, producing one continuous edge of colour.

This is the right product for:

  • Illuminated signage and lettering
  • Architectural cove and reveal outlines
  • Shopfront and hospitality perimeter lighting
  • Any install where the strip itself is the visible design feature

Cutting and Connecting

Most profiles cut every 50mm. End caps, connectors, and mounting clips ship with every range — no soldering required for straight runs and standard joins. For complex layouts or project-based orders, contact us before ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum run length?

12V runs up to 5 metres, 24V up to 20 metres, and both 48V and 220–240V AC up to 50 metres from a single power supply.

Can I use LED neon flex outdoors?

Yes — choose IP67 for garden structures and pergolas, or IP68 for permanent outdoor installs and water features.

Can I order a custom length?

Yes. Select your length directly on the product page. If you cannot find what you need, call or email us and we will specify the right product and length for your project.

What is the difference between LED neon flex and regular LED strip?

Neon flex diffuses light through a silicone sleeve, producing one clean continuous line. Regular LED strip shows individual diode dots at close range.
