Stair LED Lighting makes a staircase safer at night and dramatically improves the look of a hallway. Done well, it transforms how a home feels from the moment you walk through the front door.

Made to Measure. Share your step count, tread width, and installation type — we supply each strip cut to size, ready to install.

Three installation approaches

Under the tread nosing — the most popular. A low-profile aluminium corner channel mounts flush under the front edge of each tread. LED strip or neon flex inside it faces downward onto the step below.

Inside the riser — a recessed aluminium profile routes into the vertical face of each step, flush with the surface. Requires carpentry.

Handrail uplight — strip mounted under the handrail or inside a wall channel beside the rail, casting light down the side of the staircase.

IP rating? IP65 for interior carpeted/timber stairs. IP67 for entrance halls, utility rooms, and outdoor steps.

Voltage? 24V DC. 8–10W per metre.

Best for: Interior staircases, entrance halls, garden stone steps.
Avoid if: Stairs are uncarpeted with very thin treads (under 12mm) where routing isn't possible.
