Daylight 5000K COB LED Strip 24V 10mm 480LEDs/m IP20 20m Run

The Daylight 5000K COB LED Strip produces a crisp daylight white for dry indoor work and display areas. The 24V, 10mm-wide tape uses 480 COB LEDs per metre, consumes 7.5W/m and delivers 755 lumens per metre. It can be cut every 50mm and used in continuous runs up to 20 metres.

Its high-density COB layout sits beneath a continuous phosphor surface, so the output appears as an even line rather than separated LED points. This is an ATOM LED branded product supplied by House of LEDs, specified at CRI >90 and covered by an up-to-seven-year warranty.

Cut and made to measure: We cut and prepare this COB LED strip to suit your specific requirements. Finished lengths must follow the strip’s stated cut-point interval, so a requested length may be adjusted to the nearest valid cut point. The stated maximum continuous run still applies; longer installations must be planned as separate runs with suitable power feeds.

Where does 5000K daylight work well?

5000K is cooler and visually crisper than 4000K natural white, without reaching the distinctly cool tone of 6500K. It suits garages, workshops, utility rooms, stock rooms, task benches and commercial display areas where detail and contrast take priority over a relaxed atmosphere. For bedrooms or warm living spaces, 2700K or 3000K will usually feel more appropriate.

Which driver is required?

Select a constant-voltage 24V driver. Work from 7.5W per metre and add 25% headroom: 5m creates a 37.5W load, 10m creates 75W and 20m creates 150W. Choose the next suitable capacity from our LED driver collection. Do not connect the strip directly to mains voltage.

How should a long run be installed?

Plan the route and test the strip while it is fully unwound. Cut only on a marked 50mm copper pad. The self-adhesive backing must be applied to a clean, dry surface. A correctly sized aluminium LED profile keeps the 10mm tape aligned and shields it from accidental contact.

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are normally despatched the same working day when stock is available and no additional cutting or preparation time is required. Timed services exclude weekends and Bank Holidays unless Saturday delivery is selected. International orders use a tracked service; the available rate is calculated at checkout.

Returns

Unused standard stock items may be returned within 15 days in their original, undamaged condition and packaging. Contact us before sending a return so the correct return route can be confirmed.

Made-to-measure, cut, mixed or otherwise personalised products cannot be cancelled or returned once preparation has started unless they are faulty. Full unused rolls and unused accessories, power supplies, controllers, drivers and profiles may be eligible for return. Modifying a product can invalidate its warranty, including removing the fitted plug from 220V/240V strip or neon flex.
