Straight Plaster-In Aluminium LED Profile 55.5×13mm, Opal Cover – 1, 2 & 2.45 Metre
This straight plaster-in aluminium profile finishes flush in plasterboard walls or ceilings, leaving a trimless line of light after decorating. Its overall section is 55.5 × 13 mm and it accepts LED tape up to 12 mm wide. Choose 1 Metre, 2 Metre or 2.45 Metre.
Choose your length
- 1 Metre: suited to shorter sections and standard profile delivery.
- 2 Metre: reduces joins on longer runs; long-profile delivery applies.
- 2.45 Metre: covers longer details with fewer joins; long-profile delivery applies.
Where to use it
Use this straight IP20 profile for dry indoor ceiling slots, wall details, perimeter lighting and mitred architectural lines where recess depth is limited. The aluminium channel protects the tape and helps manage heat; the opal cover produces a softer line of light.
Installation
Fix the profile to the framing before boarding, butt the plasterboard to the perforated wings and skim over them. Fit the LED strip and opal cover only after plastering and decorating.

Aluminium profile in your selected length, opal cover, front cap and cable-entry end cap. LED strip, drivers and electrical connections are not included.

- 2m profiles / long goods: £21.85 per consignment. This applies whenever an order contains any 2m profile: one 2m length, a 2m length mixed with 1m items, or multiple 2m lengths. The charge remains £21.85 and is not replaced by the free-delivery threshold.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are normally despatched the same working day when stock is available and no additional cutting or preparation time is required. Timed services exclude weekends and Bank Holidays unless Saturday delivery is selected. International orders use a tracked service; the available rate is calculated at checkout.
Returns
Unused standard stock items may be returned within 15 days in their original, undamaged condition and packaging. Contact us before sending a return so the correct return route can be confirmed.
Made-to-measure, cut, mixed or otherwise personalised products cannot be cancelled or returned once preparation has started unless they are faulty. Full unused rolls and unused accessories, power supplies, controllers, drivers and profiles may be eligible for return. Modifying a product can invalidate its warranty, including removing the fitted plug from 220V/240V strip or neon flex.
