LED Strip Lights

Every light is cut precisely to your specification and prepared for your project. House of LEDs is a bespoke LED lighting company — made-to-measure for homes, commercial spaces, and architect-specified builds.

LED Strip Lights are flexible PCBs with surface-mounted LEDs along their length, typically 5mm to 12mm wide, designed to be cut to size and powered by a low-voltage DC driver. The two main types — SMD (Surface Mount Device) and COB (Chip on Board) — differ in how the LEDs sit on the strip.

Custom Length. Every LED strip on this page is supplied cut to your length — single continuous piece, no joins mid-run, driver sized to your wattage.

SMD vs COB?

SMD is brighter per LED and cheaper. COB is dotless and ideal where the strip is visible through a diffuser.

Voltage?

12V DC for short runs. 24V DC for runs up to 20m. 48V DC for runs up to 40m. Avoid 220V/240V mains except for specific architectural uses.

Best for: Coving, under-cabinet, ceiling, signage, accent lighting.
Avoid if: You need spot/directional lighting.
