Kitchen LED lighting splits into three jobs — under-cabinet task light onto the worktop, plinth lighting at floor level, and indirect cove lighting around the ceiling perimeter. Different jobs need different products.

What product where?
- Under cabinet: IP20 FreeCut COB LED Strip — self-adhesive, cuts at any point, no profile needed.
- Sink splash zone: IP65 LED Strip or IP67 COB LED Strip — protected from kettle steam and basin splash.
- Plinth lighting: 4×10mm or 6×12mm Neon Flex inside a small profile — invisible from standing height.
- Ceiling cove: 24V COB LED Strip inside an aluminium profile — diffused, dotless, dimmable.
Colour temperature? 2700K warm, 4000K crisp, 6000K bright workspace. CCT tunable lets you switch.
Voltage? 24V DC for runs over 5m. 12V is fine for a single short cabinet section.
Best for: Modern kitchens with under-cabinet runs, kitchen islands needing accent lighting, hospitality kitchens.
Avoid if: You need IP-rated mains lighting (use ceiling spots instead).
