Outdoor LED Lighting — IP67 & IP68 Waterproof

Outdoor LED Lighting in the UK requires IP67 (above-ground) or IP68 (submerged) ratings. IP65 is splash-resistant — fine for indoor humid areas like kitchen sinks, but it cannot survive a British winter. After one season of frost, driving rain, and freeze-thaw cycles, IP65 develops moisture ingress behind the silicone coating and fails section by section.

Our 6×12mm, 8×16mm, and 10×10mm IP67 neon flex is fully silicone-injected (not sleeved) — for genuine outdoor durability that survives UK conditions.

IP67 vs IP68 — Which Do I Need?

IP67 is the right choice for above-ground outdoor: garden borders, decking, pergolas, fencing, patios, steps, architectural fascias. Rated for temporary submersion up to 1m for 30 minutes.

IP68 is for continuous submersion: ponds, water features, fountains, pool edges.

Best for: Gardens, fascias, decking, pergolas, fences, ponds, commercial exteriors.
Avoid if: Indoor humid only — use IP65 instead.
